No matter how fast you are, no one can escape their past.

FAST & FURIOUS 9, the ninth chapter in the saga that began almost 20 years ago and has grossed more than five billion dollars worldwide, will be released on July 2.

Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) leads a quiet life with Letty and their son, little Brian, but they know that danger always stalks that quiet. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he wants to save those he loves most. The team is reunited to stop a worldwide plot, led by one of the most dangerous and best-driven assassins they’ve ever faced – a man who also happens to be Dom’s missing brother, Jakob (John Cena, who will appear in next year’s Suicide Squad).

FAST & FURIOUS 9 marks Justin Lin’s return as director of the franchise after helming the third, fourth, fifth and sixth installments and turning the saga into a worldwide phenomenon. The action takes place around the world – from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the crowded streets of Tblisi. Along the way, they will meet old friends and enemies, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested as never before.

The film sees the return of saga stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang, along with Academy Award® winner Helen Mirren and Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron. FAST & FURIOUS 9 also features Grammy-winning superstar Cardi B as Leysa, a woman connected to Dom’s past, as well as a cameo by Reggaeton sensation Ozuna.
